Campus Director Justine Thatcher works in close partnership with our academic and support staff to ensure the on-campus experience of our students, staff and visitors is a safe, welcoming and inclusive one.
Our lecturers are dedicated to bringing their real-life experience in practice into the classroom, providing our students with genuine insight into the subject matter. Each of our students are assigned an academic coach and have regular one-to-one meetings where they can get advice on the course and career aspirations. As lecturers are based in our campuses they operate an ‘open door’ policy, so students can talk to them whenever they need to.
As Campus Director Justine has a holistic oversight of the student experience in Manchester and Liverpool as well as working towards raising our external profile, creating industry links and opportunities across the region. Following an early industry career in human resources in the health and social care sector, Justine has over 20 years’ experience across further and higher education. A Senior Fellow of Advance HE, Justine has an extensive background in leadership and management education and is passionate about delivering operational excellence and building strong regional partnerships.
Nicola is the Campus Manager for the Liverpool Campus. Nicola qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and went on to practice as a real estate solicitor in both Liverpool and Leeds. Nicola also teaches on our conversion courses.Having done a conversion course herself at the College of Law (now 69传媒) in Chester she understands how daunting the initial transition is for those from a non-law background and enjoys helping students develop their legal skills and knowledge.
Our Campus Hub Team is there to connect you with the information, support and services you need to succeed at every stage of your student journey. In addition to providing guidance and support, they coordinate both university-wide and local campus events that foster a strong sense of belonging, support well-being and enhance student engagement. They also offer on-the-day support for assessment activities, ensuring students receive timely assistance when it matters most.
Louise, our Campus Hub Co-ordinator enjoys being able to support and get to know the students. She helps them feel part of 69传媒 Liverpool community, as well as the wider University of Liverpool community, whilst helping them navigate their time on campus with us. Sometimes it is the little things that make the difference. Louise will assist with any student query, source the correct information and resolve the enquiry whilst being a welcoming and friendly face.
